In case you would prefer a half day private trip we may recommend to visit one of the famous castles Karlstejn or Konopiste. Kalstejn Castle is a genuine medieval castle built in the 14th century. The castle was built to guard the crown jewellers of the emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. The Castle was very well hidden as real treasures were deposited in the most beautiful chapel in the main tower. Located about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southwest of Prague above the village of the same name, it is one of the most famous and most frequently visited castles in the Czech Republic.

Konopiste Castle is located in the beautiful countryside approx. 50Km southeast of Prague. The castle's last owner, Archduke Franz Ferdinand d'Este, was the successor to the Austro-Hungarian throne and one of the richest nobleman in Europe. He was also a fanatic collector of arms and hunting trophies which are displayed in the castle. There is an option of a special private visit of the private rooms of Archduke and his family. It might be lovely to walk through the rose garden once founded by Franz Ferdinad´s wife Sophie. Also a short visit of lovely Baroque Chateau Stirin on the way back to Prague is an option.
